Junior Golf Association registration begins April 3

The Junior Golf Association registration period is from April 3 to June 3 and entitles members to then register for Junior Golf Tour events.
The JGA normally serves over 500 boys and girls, ages 10 to 18. Now children 6 years and older can register. Meets will be held on Saturdays throughout the season at Willow Brook G.C., Copper Hill G.C., and Rock Ridge G.C.
Also, new for this year are two 36-hole Junior Championships.
The tour begins first with the Glastonbury Hills Junior Open on June 25. The Tour Championship, the Jack Kelly PGA Junior Tournament of Champions, will be held on Sept. 2 at Shennecossett G.C. in Groton.
All tournaments will have standardized entry fee of $65 for 18-hole events and $45 for 9-hole events. This year’s membership fee to join the Junior Golf Association is just $75 which is a reduced membership fee from 2011.
