Vermont's Komline takes lead
Devin Komline of Vermont posted a 6-under-par 64 to take the lead at the midway point of the second round of the 81st New England Amateur championship being played at the Course at Yale.
Komline is at 7-under 133. He leads by 1 currently over Josh Salah of Massachusetts (6-under 134) and by 2 over Yale University senior Tom McCarthy (5-under 135). McCarthy was tied for the second-round lead a year ago in this event.
Jonathan Pannone of Rhode Island, the first-round leader after a 65, teed off at 1:27 p.m.
