At Monday's Connecticut Section PGA spring meeting at the Downtown Hartford Marriott, Julius Boros Challenge Cup team captain Dennis Coscina, announced that Tom DelRosso, assistant professional, Shuttle Meadow Country Club, and Mickey Hawkes, Hawkes Golf Vehicles would join this year’s team as captain's picks. The matches will be hosted at New Haven CC on May 5. New Haven CC pro Bill Wallis, along with member Bill Street, Race Brook CC head pro Paul Barnsley will join Frank Jeja, Fran Marrello, John Paesani, Tony Kelley, Kevin Giancola, Greg Farlam, Ian Marshall, Tom Gleeton and Ed Slattery on the team. The Connecticut State Golf Association amateurs are the defending champs in the event played at Tumble Brook CC in Bloomfield last year.
