Milford's Carralero part of NCAA legacy

Kelsie Carralero already has her eyes set on a career despite just finishing her sophomore year at Methodist University.

She wants to be a head golf professional.

The former Milford resident and golfer for the Law High boys’ team has already started on her second summer internship in the school’s professional golf management program, working at Stone Leigh Golf and Country Club in Round Hill, Va. She will be “doing a little bit of everything” there, including helping out running some junior and ladies’ clinics.

Even though Carralero chose to attend the Division III school in Fayetteville, N.C., primarily for her chosen career, she is already part of two national championship teams. The second title was won May 8-11 at Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Ind.
