Evan Beirne of North Haven won his first Golfslinger.com Tour event on Saturday, firing a 6-under-par 64 at Fountains Country Club in Lake Worth, Fla.

Veirne made six birdies to win by two shots over Drew Perry of Charlotte, N.C. This is Beirne's third year on the Golfslinger.com Tour and has $3,308 in career earnings.

Mike Ballo Jr. of Stamfor shot an even-par 70 to tie for 11th place.
