Gleeton to enter CT Section PGA Hall of Fame
Tom Gleeton (above) has accomplished plenty in his life as a golfer and a golf professional. It’s nice to be able to reap the benefits while you are still active in the game.
Gleeton, a Cheshire resident and the head pro at Country Club of Waterbury, will be inducted into the 2014 Connecticut Section PGA Hall of Fame on Dec. 1 at the Section’s annual fall meeting at the Lake of Isles.
“It was a nice surprise,” said Gleeton, who has been the head pro at CC of Waterbury for 22 years. “I’m appreciative of it and the guys who vote on it. I like what I do. It’s nice for someone to recognize it.”
