The horn to suspend play blew for the third and final time at 7:20 p.m. during the second round of the New England Amateur at the Course at Yale.
The first two delays suspended play for a combined total of almost two hours.
In all likliehood, the tournament will be shortened from 72 to 54 holes to complete play on Thursday.
