My three picks for the Masters
I was tempted to choose either Anthony Kim and/or Dustin Johnson to win their first. I think both will be in contention this week, but not good enough. Here are my three choices: 1) Graeme McDowell: Finished tied for 17th two years ago and missed the cut last year at Augusta. Since last year's U.S. Open, McDowell has been the world's most clutch golfer, if not the best. He would be the best with a win here. 2) Lee Westwood: Has had so many close calls at recent major championships, including finishing second at the Masters last year. Westwood is long overdue to finally win one. 3) Phil Mickelson: Defending champion won for the first time last week since Augusta with a birdie barrage over the weekend at the Houston Open. He's failed at other chances to become No. 1. If he can't do it on one of his favorite venues, you wonder if Lefty will ever get to the top.
