Alling Memorial named CT Public Course of Year

The Connecticut Section PGA selected Alling Memorial Golf Course in New Haven as the Walter Lowell Public Golf Course of the Year. It is an annual award and the first time Alling has been selected.

According to CT Section PGA president John Korolyshun, there were five finalists for the award and Alling was selcted on the basis of its merit of the course, the course conditions after the renovations, the First Tee programs that are held there, and other things the course has done over the past few years.

Alling Memorial will be honored at the Walter Lowell Tournament on May 31 at Clinton Country Club.
