Bubba does it again
It looks like Bubba Watson has gotten used to winning on the PGA Tour.
The reigning Travelers Championship winner won his second tournament in this calendar year, capturing the Zurich Classic of New Orleans Sunday in a sudden-death playoff over Webb Simpson.
Watson, 32, vaulted to the top spot in the Fed Ex Cup Playoff standings,. He birdied the second playoff hole while Simpson made par. Watson won the Travelers, his first tour win ever last June, also in a sudden-death playoff.
In his other win this year in San Diego, Watson held off Phil Mickelson.
He will be returning to the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell in June to defend his title.
