Rainaud wins Stroke Play; earns Travelers Championship exemption
Adam Rainaud of the Black Hall Club shot a two-round totlas of 10-under-par 134 to win the Spring PGA Stroke Play championship Wednesday at the Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, Mass.
The title also earns Rainaud an exemption into the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwel August 4-7. This will be Rainaud’s second appearance in the Travelers Championship, the previous appearance coming in 2014.
Rainaud’s opening round of 63 Tuesday tied the course record. He won by five shots over Kyle Bilodeau.
