St. Joes-Trinity Catholic already sold out
If you intended on making the trip down to Stamford Monday night to watch a pair of FCIAC titans do battle, don't bother - unbless you already have a ticket.
Trinity Catholic Athletic Director Tracy Nichols confirmed Thursday that the 500-seat gymnasium is already sold out. Cablevision 12 is filiming the game, taking up close to 50 seats. Virginia coach Dave Leitao is expected to be in attendance, as are several other Division I coaches to see Tevin Baskin from Trinity.
Even head coaches' passes will be denied. For those lucky enough to have a ticket, it should determine the top seed in the FCIAC Tournament. Both St. Joes and Greenwich are coming off their first in-state loss of the year, both to a surprisingly-strong Greenwich squad. Both teams are ranked fifth and seventh, respectively, in the Register Top 10 poll.
