The 40th annual Challenge Cup has begun at New Haven Country Club. Check back later for final results.

The CSGA Amateur team is trying to win its third straight Cup against the Connecticut Section pros. They are trying to do it with two notable rookies:
Tom McCarthy of Twin Hill CC in Coventry, but a senior at Yale University who helped the Bulldogs win the Ivy League championship this season.
Aaron Gross of the host course. He is the reigning club champion. That accomplishment gets you an exemption into this tournament.
