Khang wins CT Women's Open

CLINTON — Megan Khang made her first appearance in the Connecticut Women’s Open a memorable one.

The 14-year-old amateur from Rockland, Mass., shot a second-round 73 Wednesday to win the 14th Women’s Open by two shots over Lynn Valentine at Clinton Country Club.

“My father told me to relax and play my own game and things would come our way,” Khang said.
