Angela Aulenti (pictured above), the head professional at Sterling Farms Golf Club in Stamford, iwill receive the 2014 Nancy Lopez Golf Achievement Award courtesy of the LPGA.

Aulenti, the first female head golf professional in Connecticut, also serves as the director of golf for the E. Gaynor Brennan course in Stamford. Each year, the LPGA selects a club professional who displays the qualities for the former outstanding tour pro now in th LPGA Hall of Fame. Some of those qualities include leadership, giving, passion and approachability.

Among the awards Aulenti has won includes the the 2011 LPGA Professional of the Year.
