New Haven Golf Club looking to get younger members

The New Haven Golf Club has been around close to 65 years and is still about 160 members strong at Alling Memorial Golf Course.

It may not be as well known as the course’s Knickerbocker Club, but they did have over 300 members in the 1990s. And many of them have been members for decades, participating in a variety of tournaments.

Take John Limone, for instance. He has been a member of the club for over 20 years and has served as the organization’s president for the last eight.

“There is a lot of history in our cub,” said Limone, 69.

Why is the club trying to get younger? Read more about it here. Also includes information about the CWGA Championship and ticket info for the LPGA Championship.
