 The Connecticut Section PGA pros came from behind to defeat the CSGA Amateurs 34-29 and win the Cup for the fourth straight year. 

Street teamed with New Haven CC head pro Bill Wallis in this friendly four-ball and individual format CSGA amateurs Chet Hrostek and Kevin Josephson prevailed over the New Haven CC duo of William Wallis and Bill Street (above).

 In other action Thursday, Paul Barnsley, the head pro at Race Brook CC in Orange, and Mike Martin of New Haven both earned halves of their matches against Greg Reilly (CC of Darien) and Ross Kronberg (Great River GC), respectively. Barnsley and Martin also halved their four-ball match with Reilly and Kronberg.
