It took three extra hours, but second-round play was officially called just before 6:30 p.m. at the Travelers Championship. The last shot was struck at 3:19.
The second round will resume at 7 a.m. Saturday, followed by the third round with players going off both tees.
Fredrik Jacobson will get to sleep in since he completed his second round Friday at 9-under 131. He lead both Nathan Green and Charley Hoffman by one shot. Both players have to come back Saturday morning to complete their rounds.
