John Jackopsic of West Hartford shot a two-round total of 145 (70-75) at Fairview Farm Golf Course Thursday to be the only qualifier for the U.S. Public Links.

Jackopsic advances to play in the 87th U.S. Public Links Championship July 9-14 at Soldier Hollow GC in Midway, Utah. 

Alex Diclemente (Burlington) and Chris Delucia (Norwich) shot 146 (74-72) and 147 (71-76), respectively, to be the top two alternates.
