Janet Karabin shot a 4-over-par 76 Monday to earn medalist laurels at the 95th Connecticut Women's Golf Association Championship at Tumble Brook Country Club.

Lynda Foster of Madison was tied for second place with a 9-over-par 79. She will be seeded second and open match play Wednesday against Joyce Curran.

Mackenzie Hawkes of Madison (81) is seeded fifth in the championship flight and will face Norma Noyes. Check out the rest of the CWGA championship bracket.
