Bill Hermanson (Black Hall Club) shot a 4-over 76, but it was still good enough to win the 70th CSGA Senior Amateur by two shots at Torrington CC.

Hermanson posted a two-round total of 2-over 146. Mark Vasington (Wampanoag CC) finished second at 4-over 148, followed by Jack Bracken (Hartford GC) at 5-over 149, Shawn McLoughlin (Ridgewood CC) at 6-over 150 and Dave Szewczul (CC of Farmington), also at 150.
