Jordan Gosler, an assistant pro at Manchester Country Club, defeated Kevin Shea (Great Neck CC) 3 and 2 Thursday to win the CT Section PGA Match Play event at the recently-renovated Goodwin Park GC in Hartford.

Gosler earned a spot on the CT Section's 12-man team in next May's Challenge Cup at New Haven CC. He won the match with a birdie on the 16th hole.
