Rainaud captures 2nd straight CT Section Player of Year award

Adam Rainaud, an assistant golf pro at the Black Hall Club, has secured his second consecutive Bob Shea Award as the Connecticut Section’s Player of the Year.

Rainaud sealed the Player of the Year race with his victory at the Connecticut PGA Professional Championship at The Ranch Golf Club on Tuesday. Rainaud has compiled a 69.5 stroke average and won six tournaments: the CT PGA Senior/Junior Pro-Pro at Lake of Isles, the Walter Lowell PGA Tournament, the Wampanoag CC PGA Pro-Am, the Assistant Connecticut PGA Championship and the Crumpin-Fox GC PGA Pro-Am.

Rainaud qualified for the PGA Championship last month. In 2014, he qualified for the Travelers Championship.
