It is nearly 4:30 p.m., the sun is still out, yet all of the CIAC girls basketball quarterfinals have already been postponed, including the Class L matchup between Wilbur Cross and Hand. The game is now Saturday at 7 p.m. at Branford.

The SCC Division II hockey game between Amity and Cheshire has been postponed until Saturday because Cheshire postponed all PM school activities earlier in the day. The game has been moved to Bennett Rink in West Haven and will begin at 6:30.
