Cody Palladino posted a 2-under-par 68 to get to 5-under for the tournament, but still six shots behind Kyle Gallo after two rounds of the Connecticut Open at The Country Club of Fairfield. Gallo is at 11-under 129 through 36 holes.

Palladino and Gallo are both Berlin residents. They will be paired in the final group.

Evan Beirne, Bobby Gage and Branden Chicorka are all at 3-under par with one round left - eight shots behind Gallo. Gage will be in the final threesome.
