Lintz wins CT Women's Open
Jordan Lintz, the teaching pro at Great River Golf Club in Milford, beat Liz Caron on the seocnd hole of a sudden-death playoff to win the 13th Connecticut Women's Open at The Golf Club at Oxford Greens.
Lintz used to play on both the LPGA Tour and Futures Tour before turning to teaching. Caron used to be Liz Janangelo, a four-time winner of the Open (2003-06) who played on the LPGA and Futures Tour as well before also turning to teaching this year at Rockrimmon CC in Stamford.
