Second round concludes, third round already started
The PGA Tour wastes no time when it falls behind schedule in its tournaments due to weather-related delays.
The second round concluded at approximately 12:20 p.m. Saturday with 88 golfers making the cut. The third round began at 12:30 p.m.
Second-round leader Fredrik Jacobson (9-under) goes off at 2:50 p.m. along with Camilo Villegas and JB Holmes (both at 8-under).
The cut came in at even-par 140, extending the stay of, among others, Fairfield native J.J. Henry, former University of Hartford players Tim Petrovic and Patrick Sheehan, along with former major champions Angel Cabrera and Vijay Singh.
