Weather interrupts Travelers Championship

CROMWELL -- A decade has passed since Phil Mickelson defended his title at the Canon Greater Hartford Open.

Fredrik Jacobson is halfway toward becoming the second golfer to ever accomplish it in the 61-year history of what is now the Travelers Championship. His 4-under-par 66 in Friday's weather-interrupted second round gives him a one-shot lead at TPC River Highlands.

"Any tournament, it's tough to win," Jacobson said. "To win two in a row is probably tougher. But you know you have the thing going for you that you have some good memories to draw from, so hopefully that allows a little bit to increase your chances."
