The 23rd annual H.A. Butterworth Memorial Iceberg Open will be held Dec. 5 at Tallwood Country Club in Hebron. 

Golfers are encouraged in addition to paying a $60 entry fee to also donate a unwrapped toy. All of the toys will be donated to KIDSAFE CT, a child abuse prevention center located in Vernon.

Longtime Tallwood CC head pro John Nowobilski said over 2,500 toys have been donated since the tournament began.

It is a 9:15 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee includes greens fees, continental breakfast, gifts and prizes. For more information or to register, contact the Tallwood pro shop at 860-646-3437.
