The Connecticut Section PGA pros retained the Challenge Cup, beating the CSGA Amateurs 35.5-27.5 at New Haven Country Club.

Ben Conroy (pictured above) participated in his first Cup. The Durham resident and senior at the University of Delaware is one of the better amateurs the state has to offer.

The 42nd Challenge Cup will be held Thursday at New Haven Country Club.
